SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarship Guidelines

Rasa Yoga exists to actively participate in creating peace on our planet by joining with others to grow an all-inclusive study community, promoting total physical, mental, spiritual health and well-being.  To that end, we strive to create the very best training programs in the science and art of Yoga and Ayurveda.

The intention of our scholarship program is to support dedicated individuals who want to transform their lives and participate in our global mission by becoming increasingly empowered to embody the highest vision for the world, but who otherwise would not be able to enroll at full tuition.  We are grateful to be able to extend aid to a limited number of students in the form of partial course scholarships for some of our courses and programs at this time.

Please read and follow these guidelines carefully when applying for a scholarship award.

Scholarship Availability & Amount of Award

To qualify for a partial scholarship, prospective participants must complete and submit the scholarship application form, answering all questions on the form honestly and fully. In addition to submitting an application, we expect applicants to be firmly committed to their attendance and course participation (this includes attendance in and participation in training as specified by Rasa Yoga Director of Yoga Studies, Assistant Director of Yoga Studies and assigned mentor).  Failure to maintain attendance and participation as specified may result in any scholarship awarded being rendered void.

Those who are already enrolled in a particular course are not eligible to receive a scholarship for that course retroactively, therefore we only accept scholarship applications from individuals who have not yet enrolled in the course of their request.

Scholarship Application Submissions

Prospective students may submit a scholarship application as soon as a particular course is announced. Applications are accepted at any time prior to the course's start date and for two to three weeks after it has begun, or for as long as it is listed on the Scholarship Application Form.

Scholarship Award Notifications

Our scholarship award determinations are made by our scholarship team once we know the size of our award fund for the program and the approximate number of students enrolling at the regular rate.  We issue our scholarship award notifications by email generally in the final two weeks before the course begins. Therefore, we ask scholarship applicants to be patient and to understand that even if they have applied early, they may have to wait to find out if they have been awarded a scholarship. We do not offer our early registration bonuses to scholarship recipients.

Refund Policy for Scholarship Participants

As we have stated above, the intention of our scholarship program is to support individuals who are dedicated to embodying the highest vision for the world, but who otherwise would not be able to afford to enroll in one of our programs. We therefore expect applicants to be firmly committed to their course participation (this includes attendance in and participation in training as specified by Rasa Yoga Director of Yoga Studies, Assistant Director of Yoga Studies and assigned mentor).  For that reason, the portion of the course fee paid by scholarship recipients is non-refundable, regardless of what the standard or advertised refund policy is for full-tuition attendees of that particular course.

Partial Scholarship Application Form

If you have read the above guidelines and you would like to submit an application for a partial scholarship to offset the registration fees for a particular course, and if you are not already enrolled in that course at full rate, please use the application at the bottom of this page.
