Being Yoga Attendance Policies and Procedures

Consecutive attendance is expected in Being Yoga. In the event of an absence, the student can receive a make-up for the session through the following procedures:

  • Being Yoga Monday (Lecture) – Notify mentor of absence via phone, text or email (24 hours notice is required). The mentor will coordinate with an experience level MIT to take notes and offer a re-teaching opportunity. It is the absent student’s responsibility to contact the designated MIT and meet with them to receive the re- teaching. The student will submit a summary of what he/she understood from the re- teaching to their mentor and Gurudevi.

  • Being Yoga Master Sadhana Sessions – Due to the nature of these sessions being experiential, a make-up reteaching is not available in the event of an absence. Students must attend an additional Being Yoga Master Sadhana following the completion of their course of Being Yoga (in the event the student chooses not to continue with Being Yoga beyond the minimum requirements for his/her training program). In some cases, a drop-in fee may apply.
